One Couch: Three Ways
We just love this Charlotte Sofa by our fantastic vendor Society Social. We had it covered in a seafoam linen with vanilla piping and tufting. Then came the fun! Here are three great ways to use what accents you have around you to make three distinct and sophisticated looks.
VERSION ONE: Midcentury Moment
We call this our Mad Men version. Using brass accents, a bar cart with all the trimmings (natch), two fabulous chinoiserie panels by Liza Hathaway Matthews and some metallic/geometric pillows, this vignette is ready for you to put on your best cocktail dress and get ready to throw a real wingding.
VERSION TWO: Palm Beach Chic
Lord knows with the way the weather has been in the Northeast lately, we all need a dose of some Carribbean breezes and Floridian style to take us away! Using blue and white as a our basic color scheme for accents, we used rattan accent tables, brightly colored and patterned lamps and pillows, our own custom designed trellis rug, added a fabulous print of a bahamian seascape and…. aahhhhhh…..
VERSION THREE: Orange Crush
What’s our favorite accent color? Why orange of course! Coral, melon or vibrant tangerine – we love it all! In this vignette we pulled together three different orange pillows, a show-stopping framed textile from a local interior designer and toned it down with some natural materials in our accent pieces and voila – we are crushing.
